Our
History
Marshall
Welded Steel Ltd (Marwel) was founded by Wilf Marshall and Stan
Reavenall in post-war Britain during the 1940's.

same site. -->

The foundations and
framework are laid for larger units to cope with increased
production. The first units were built by hand by the
original employees.
|
|

In the early days the
company manufactured a wide range of quality items such as goods trolleys
and swings.
|

|
An
early sales success resulted in the design and manufacture of a
unique heavy duty bi-planar overhead chain conveyor, shown to
the left. This proved so successful that several were sold,
directly leading to the company specialising in conveyor design
and mechanical handling.
|
| Up
to and into the new Millennium the business has sustained steady
growth. Occupying two floors of office space and 5 factory bays,
Marwel Conveyors LTD is in a unique position to provide modern,
cost-effective solutions to its clients.

The company's strength is
its long-standing, loyal and committed work force who continue to adapt to
ever modernising working environments.
